Objectives
To be the national organisation of all Buddhist youths in Malaysia;
To encourage, foster and develop the practice of the Teachings of the Lord Buddha among youths;
To coordinate the religious, social and recreational activities of Buddhist youths through its member organisation;
To provide leadership training for Buddhist youths;
To further all other interests of Buddhist youths as may be decided upon at a National Council Meeting.

The Aims of 16th National Council
To revive the construction of Puzhao Buddhist Vihara;
To diversify the sources of fix incomes. The monthly fix incomes shall be able to cover 50% of the monthly administration expenses by June 2002;
To continue the work of systematisation of Buddhist education - to complete the syllabus of Buddhist Study for Primary School (English) and Lower Secondary School (Chinese) and to publish the textbooks of Buddhist Study for Standard 1 to Standard 3 (Chinese);
To promote the concept of Buddhist Family through various approaches and series of activities;
To join effort with non-Buddhist bodies to encompass a wider spectrum of Dhamma propagation;
To enhance the public awareness on organ donation via innovative approaches and to achieve the target of 6000 pledged organ donors;
To organise "Kem Jatidiri" at the secondary schools in four states, to develop the righteousness of the students.
